Chapter-02
The Next Day

"So you mean a stranger was there in your house. He was aiming a gun at your dad. He was telling your dad that you are beautiful. And he said that he will marry you instead of paying back the loans.", said my friend. I nodded in agony. "You must be kidding me. It only happens in some movies. I oppose."

A matter of fact, it can never happen to a lady like you, right? "It is weird, right? Like, see- how can your dad not pay a loan back? He can pay the loan back anyway. He is involved in the dark world thing after all." It is funny how you and your friends think out of the box, even though you shouldn't. "Y-Yeah, what should I do now?" "Of course, talk to your parents about it. Be stern, Y/n." You nodded, only to think what will happen the next moment.

"But, what if it's a plan?", you asked. "Then run away." You stared at your friends dumbfounded.

After Reaching Home.....

"Thank God, you're back. We were worried for you." You walked into the hall, scoffing. "Worried? For what?" "What if someone would have kidnapped you on your way home?", said your dad. "Why would someone kidnap me?" "What if he thinks you are going to run away?" You laugh, "Nice drama, dad.", you huffed.

"Drama?" You flipped your hair, "I know it all, dad. Him asking to pay back loans you didn't even take.", you franked. "Y-Y/n, it's just-" "It's really a drama? I was just acting.", you glared at your dad. "H-How did you know?", he asked. "I didn't know. I went to meet my friends. They told me it is so dramatic. So, I had to fake it.", you snorted, "But... It is a relief to see it is a drama. Now tell me, why do you want me to marry him?"

"C'mon, you know I have been trying to convince you to marry. You always denied. So, at last, I had to do this.", he sighed. "I shed my tears for a mere drama?", you gasped. They nodded. "Anyways, I am not marrying." You see your dad's eyes darken. "I am warning you, Y/n. Either marry him or leave us." "Both mean the same.", you shrugged.

"I mean, if you don't marry, we won't be your parents.", said my dad. "I am your daughter, dad. I will not marry someone." "Okay then, get out of this house and never step in here again." Anger built in you, you picked your bag up, making your way out.

"Such a disobedient brat."

Sitting into the car, you start it. "Isn't it his?" You sighed, moving out of it. You saundered out. "My life take turns at the best moments." You said, feeling bad for yourself.

It was the time for a good dinner, you moved to the nearby convinience store. You picked up a good cup of noodles, making your way to the other section. You tried to pay for your noodles with a card, but it declined. "Is there a problem?" Said the shopkeeper. "Yes." "I suppose, your card is not working. Are you sure this card is usable?" "I guess... Not." You put back the cup noodles at its place, pulling yourself out of the store.

"Such an embarrassing thing to do. How can I forget my dad is the one who keeps my card up?" Sitting on the bench, you rub your arms. It is cold outside, yet you are being stubborn. And you know problems aren't going to end here. There will be a gang of boys following you at night, especially when you are wearing the so-called revealing clothes.

Just a little bit of your shoulder showing up. But the society we live in, it is considered revealing. You lie on the bench, planning to try to sleep, even though you know you can fall asleep only on some good warm bedclothes. Your purse barely has a penny. What will you do with them? A candy? Will it be enough for a foodie like you? No, of course not.

Closing your eyes, you hope for the best. Minding the least about your surroundings. You wished for a thin clothe to cover yourself, but that was something you could get only in your dreams. Sitting on the bench restless, you stare at the black car. Someone was looking at you through it. And you knew something is going to get wrong.

Once he saw you staring back, he escorted out of his car to you. Seeing him come to you, you got up. "D-Don't come close to me." "No, I was just here to ask if you know me.", he said. "I don't, and don't come any closer." "I know you. I saw your picture the other day but I don't remember when and why."

"Me?" "Yes." Blonde hair, plumpy red lips, small eyes, cute cheeks, and not much tall. But definitely tall when compared to you. Black jacket, just like a young rich man, skinny jeans. You really don't know him. Especially when he can match you when it comes to fashion.

"Are you a businessman?", you asked. "No.", he shrugged. "Then what do you do?" He went silent for a moment. "It would be better if you don't know." "Why?", you cocked your eyebrow up. "You may think I am a kidnapper.", he shrugged. "Are you?" "No!", he opposed, "I have seen you somewhere, in a photo."

He stared at the pitch black sky, trying to pressurize his brain. "Ah, you are the one! His fiancee!" "Whose?", you asked. "Kim Taehyung's." "I-I am not his fiancee!" "Wait." He rambles for his phone in his pocket. Dialing some numbers, he waits for the other one to pick up. "Hey, the previous day you shoved me a picture of your fiancee, right?" Someone mumbled from the other side. "Hm, I think I found her here. Lying on the bench right next to a convinience store."

"Your ring in her finger?" You checked onto your finger, you were happy that you threw the ring before. Showing your hands up, you smiled, "Told you, I am not." "Oh, she doesn't have it. I guess she is-" You heard Taehyung mumble. "She is your fiancee? But your ring- Oh, I see. What should I do then? Take her along.", he laughed.

Keeping the phone back into his pocket, he smiled at you. "I don't have his ring in my ring finger!", you opposed. "That is the reason. You don't have the ring in your finger." "What?", you frowned. "Taehyung told me, if you are his fiancee, you would definitely not have his ring in your finger. After all, why would someone wear the ring of a man she doesn't like? I know you're upset. But trust me, marrying him-" "I don't need no opinions!"

"Okay, ma'am. Just get into the car." "Why should I?!", you spit. "You mean- you'll stay here, outside in this freezing cold weather?", he cocked his eybrow up. "N-No, I will go home.", you fumbled. "But Taehyung told me you ran away." "It is not called running away, I left the house in front of them.", you rolled your eyes. "I see, but didn't they try to stop you?" "No.", you pouted. "So now? Will you actually go back?" "I guess.", you looked down.

"You can stay at my home.", he said. "Who are you to Taehyung?", you cocked your eyebrow up. "His best friend.", he said. "Do you live with him by any chance?" "No." "I see..... I'm ready then. But wait- why do you want to help me?" "Because you are the fiancee of-" "Urgh! I am not marrying him!", you shouted.

"Why?" "I don't like him.", you huffed. "What is wrong with him? He is the perfect gentleman." "Not until he wants to marry me, only me.", you huffed. He chuckles, "Trust me, Taehyung is better than what you think." "You know what? Who am I even asking for help from. You can go, you won't see me here by tomorrow." "Tomorrow is your wedding-" "I am not marrying him!", you sighed with frustration.

"Do you know why he is marrying you, only you?", he questions. "No.", you look at him with curiosity. "Want to know?" "Yes.", you stomped your foot. "Stay at my house for tonight then." You gasped, stepping away from him. "What a cruel world, a man wants to betray his own bestfriend." "Oh c'mon, you are like a sister to me.", he rolls his eyes.

"How may I trust you? Give me your friend's phone number.", you forward your hand. "A nice way to get his number. Give me your phone.", he chuckles. "Give me yours." He chuckles once again, giving his phone to you. "I have sent his number to me." You added Taehyung's number in your phone.

"Now may we head to my home?" "Sure.", you shrugged.
